Irrigation Board Filing Open Now

Anyone interested in running for the Pasadena Park Irrigation District Board can file now.

Persons wishing to be placed on the ballot for the Dec. 14 election must file a petition of nomination with the district by 5 p.m. Nov. 1.

A petition of nomination must be signed by at least 10 qualified electors in the district and may be obtained at the district’s offices, 9227 E. Upriver Drive.

To qualify for the races, which are for Position 4, now held by Daniel E. Crandell, and Position 5, now held by Deidre A. Hettinger, a person must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, a resident of Washington and live within the irrigation district.
