Amtrak says its revenue rose 7 percent in the latest fiscal year to an all-time high and that ridership increased for a third straight year. Ridership for the fiscal year was 21,508,700, up 2 percent from last year and nearly 10 percent since it began rebounding in 1997.

Micron Technology Inc. has reached an agreement to become Gateway Inc.’s largest memory chip supplier - its second such deal this week. The Boise-based semiconductor company said it has a five-year agreement to provide a “near majority” of the personal computer manufacturer’s memory chips. Earlier this week, Micron made a similar deal with Compaq Computer Corp.
