Premier Video Closes Store

After nearly a decade, Premier Video has closed its Millwood store.

Road work and a lease that was nearly up spurred the movie store’s departure, said Jeanne Rodgers, area manager for the chain.

Memberships have been transferred to stores at 9126 E. Sprague and 1527 N. Pines. The three employees working at the store also will be transferred to new locations.

Nail salon offers coffee, too

A nail salon with a twist is now open in Millwood.

The Nail Cafe, run by long-time beauty professional Michelle Holmes, has moved into the lobby of A Top Tan & Espresso, 3117 N. Argonne.

Holmes maintains business hours Tuesday through Friday and will do nails by appointment on Saturdays.

Couple opens car repair shop

A Spokane couple with a long-time car repair business has opened a new shop in Opportunity.

Denis and Cheryl Koch opened their new Tune Tech auto repair center, 420 N. Pines, on Monday.

The full-service center offers everything from oil changes to brake jobs and engine overhauls.

The couple also has a shop at 3011 N. Monroe.

Hours at the Tune Tech Valley shop are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Shuttle service is available for customers who need a ride to or from work. Call 893-8863 for more information.
