Cut It Out! Mount Spokane

Cross country skiers can’t procrastinate much longer. It’s time to join the groups clearing ski trails at Mount Spokane if you don’t want to be hacking through the brush when the snow flies. The Selkirk Nordic Ski Education Foundation is looking for volunteers to help with three scheduled work parties, Sept. 11, Sept. 19 and Oct. 2. Wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves, water, lunch, saws and pruning equipment. Meet 10 a.m. at Selkirk Lodge.
