Hearing Will Air Privacy Concerns

The Consumer Privacy Workgroup will conduct a public hearing Thursday for citizens to voice concerns about consumer privacy issues, including the collection and distribution of personal information by businesses.

The group was appointed by Attorney General Christine Gregoire.

The hearing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Lounges A and B at Spokane Falls Community College.

Those unable to attend the meeting are urged to send their comments on privacy concerns via e-mail by visiting the Attorney General Web pages on privacy at www.wa.gov./ago/ privacy. Or send comments to Attorney General at 1125 Washington St. SE, P.O. Box 40100, Olympia, 98504-0100.
