Annette Hendricks, Democrat

A retired Navy electronics specialist and air traffic controller, Hendricks, 44, was born in Spokane. She now lives in Cheney, where she is pursuing her master’s degree at Eastern Washington University. She has been an active community volunteer, helping with food and blood drives and various school activities. She is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. She ran for state representative against Larry Sheahan last year and lost.

Hendricks has an undergraduate degree in biology from EWU and is pursuing her master’s in biology and an undergraduate degree in secondary education concurrently at EWU.
