Hastings’ Gift Boosts Literacy Programs

North Idaho College’s adult basic education/General Education Development (GED) program received $1,021 Wednesday for literacy programs from Hastings Books, Music & Video in Coeur d’Alene.

The money was raised through Hastings’ “Imagine Literacy” benefit concert in July.

Last year, Hastings’ donation helped more than 20 people earn their GED degrees.
