From Staff Reports

Construction on I-90 through Spokane continues, and motorists should expect delays and changes.

Today, the eastbound Sprague Avenue offramp traffic will be routed onto the new concrete surface. The switch will start at 9 a.m, and eastbound I-90 will be reduced to one lane.

The location of the new offramp is about a half-mile sooner than drivers are used to. After exiting, drivers will be on 1st Avenue, and will then turn left at Dollar Road to access eastbound and westbound Sprague Avenue.

Also, Sprague Avenue under the freeway may be reduced to one lane in each direction during work hours for truck access.

In other construction, I-90 is on temporary lanes in the area of Park from Broadway to Argonne. Evening and night work may be under way with freeway lane restrictions and single-lane traffic in both directions at times. Drivers should be alert for narrow lanes, slow traffic and congestion.
