Nickelodeon To Visit Rathdrum Students

The children’s cable television channel Nickelodeon will visit Rathdrum on Wednesday.

Nickelodeon and its “Big Helpmobile” has been touring one city in each of the 50 states to encourage community volunteerism, particularly among kids. Viewers submitted their cities’ names to Nickelodeon, and Rathdrum’s name was the one drawn for Idaho. No one seems to know who submitted Rathdrum to the network.

All Lakeland School District third-graders will visit the Helpmobile throughout the school day. The Helpmobile will be stationed at Betty Kiefer Elementary School and will be open to the public from 3 to 5 p.m.
