Pair Leave Restaurant Without Paying

A man pushed his way past an International House of Pancakes manager on Sept. 19, then ran away after the manager demanded that he pay for meals he and another man ate, Spokane police spokesman Dick Cottam said.

The two had ordered steak dinners at the restaurant at 224 S. Lincoln, and one already had left before the manager caught up to the suspect. She was not injured in the altercation, Cottam said.

Witnesses described the men as 35, white, about 5-foot-11, and 170 pounds with blond, collar-length hair, and 40, black, 6 feet tall, and 190 pounds with black hair.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Check 456-2233.
