Sender Of Threatening E-Mails Sought
Someone has sent threatening e-mails to several South Hill teenagers in recent weeks, Spokane police said Wednesday.
Six teenagers have reported receiving the threats on their home computers, said Dick Cottam, police spokesman.
Detectives have declined to divulge the contents of the e-mails.
“A recent law change makes it a crime to threaten someone electronically,” Cottam said.
Detectives are attempting to trace the e-mails back to their sender, he said.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
