Spokane Men Charged With Child Rape

Spokane police arrested two men Friday night on suspicion of child rape.

Anthony Thomas Thompson, 18, and Donald Eugene Cornett, 38, were booked into jail on several counts of child rape and one count of molestation involving two 13-year-old girls.

The girls had run away from home and stayed with one of the two men for a week, according to police reports. One of the girls said she had been beaten and burned with a cigarette lighter by one of the men.

Both men said they live at 1911 N. Monroe, say police reports.
