Long Live Zeppelin!

Jon Ross, Moscow

Led Zeppelin “Latter Days”

“Latter Days,” the second album in a two-volume set spanning the career of Led Zeppelin, is full of amazing music.

The CD, produced by Jimmy Page, chronicles the band’s last albums and contains such favorites as “No Quarter,” “The Song Remains the Same,” “Houses of the Holy,” and the ever-popular “Kashmir.” Included in the liner notes is a comprehensive history of the band in pictures ranging from 1972 to 1979. Also contained in the CD is rare footage of a performance of “Kashmir.”

I was a little disappointed at the exclusion of “Brown-Y-Aur” and some of the other songs that represent Page’s masterful guitar work, but the songs that made the cut do not disappoint.

Longtime fans and newcomers alike will be pleased with this recording, which, when combined with “Early Days - Volume 1,” provides a glimpse into the history of one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
