Coeur d’Alene police

Kathy Fink, employee of Fort Grounds Tavern, reported Tuesday the $446 theft of cash when an unauthorized check was paid out of the business bank account.

Clint Paulsen, manager of Dollar Rent a Car, reported Wednesday the $22,000 theft of a 1999 Chevrolet pickup when it was rented and not returned to the office at 105 Sherman Ave.

Dean Breczinski reported Wednesday $325 damage to 13 residential mailboxes on the 3000 block of Moccasin Road and the 4000 block of Appaloosa Road.

Michael Green reported Wednesday $310 damage to the antenna and exterior mirror of his 1991 Mercury Coupe while it was parked at Shopko, 217 W. Ironwood Drive.

Kayla Pedey, employee of The Rug Doctor, reported Thursday the $700 theft of a carpet steam cleaner when it was rented and not returned to Safeway, 121 Neider Ave.

Kootenai County sheriff

Clarence Hasse, Rathdrum, reported Wednesday $500 damage to the rear window of his 1979 Oldsmobile while it was parked on his property on the 2700 block of W. Boekel Road.
