Meanwhile: It’S A No-Count Town

It’s the ultimate blink-and-you’ll-miss-it type of town - and residents here say the U.S. Census Bureau blinked because no one has received any census 2000 forms.

One of the state’s smallest boroughs, Jeddo has only 53 households and 121 residents on six occupied acres.

Census officials say they didn’t forget about the town. They say forms are sent only to street addresses, not rural route numbers and post office boxes, which Jeddo residents use. Census workers plan to hand-deliver the forms there.
