Cowboy poet and humorist Rudy Gonzalez will be the master of ceremonies and entertainment for the fund-raising banquet sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation May 6 at Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

An Alaskan cruise is among the many items to be auctioned at the annual event, which raises money for elk conservation project.
