“I met (Megan) at Ballet Arts Academy, which is our current ballet school. Just recently we became very close and have been working together in ballet. …She has a very strong commitment to becoming the dancer she wants to be. …Megan has changed the way I look at dance. I have become more determined and persistent with my dancing and I thank her for that. She is such a beautiful person, dancer, teacher,” wrote her nominator Melissa Castaneda.
