There is less than a month left to nominate a teacher for the Our Generation Best Teachers award.

Junior and senior high school students may nominate in a one-page letter the best teacher they’ve had.

Your letter should clearly describe the teacher’s creativity and innovative teaching style, sense of humor and how he or she shows respect for students and concern for students outside of the classroom. Nominations should be as specific as possible. Include your full name, address, phone number, school and grade as well as the teacher’s full name, school and class he or she teaches.

Send your nomination to Our Generation/Best Teachers, 999 W. Riverside, Spokane, WA 99201 or ship it to the fax or e-mail address at the bottom of the page. Nominations must be received by May 5.

Friday is the deadline to submit your band’s tape, CD or video to audition for a chance to compete at the annual Battle of the Bands in June.
