Few Show For CV District Boundary Hearing
The first of two public hearings for attendance boundary changes in the Central Valley School District was a party with hardly any guests.
Just three families attended on Tuesday at University High School. One father spoke, asking about the district’s choice policy. One mom and her son attended as part of fulfilling a Boy Scout award.
The second hearing is expected to be far livelier. It will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in the multipurpose room at Central Valley High School.
At issue are proposed boundary changes to help balance enrollments between the two high schools.
