Lessons Offered In Composting At Home

The Spokane Master Composters are offering a series of seminars on turning yard and kitchen waste into fertilizer.

The sessions last about an hour and those who attend will take home a free compost bin.

Classes at 7 p.m. will be held at the Northside Library, 44 E. Hawthorne, today; the Cooperative Extension office, 222 N. Havana, Wednesday; and Deer Park City Hall, Thursday.

A noon class is scheduled for Wednesday at Council Chambers at Spokane City Hall.

Next week the evening classes at 7 will be at the Finch Arboretum on Monday and the Valley Library, 12004 E. Main, on Tuesday.
