Seminars: Horsing Around

A long list of exhibits, seminars and demonstrations dealing with taking horses and other stock into the backcountry will be featured at Rendezvous 2000, a gathering of horse activities, next Saturday and Sunday at Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds.

Get information on horse adoption from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management; see packing demos by outfitter Smoke Elser, compete in horse and mule packing contests.

A dinner and auction is set for Saturday.
