Dolores Trull Spokane
Private memorial service for Dolores Trull, 78, will be held today. Spokane Cremation and Burial Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Trull, who was born in Killim, Alberta, died Tuesday.
She graduated from North Central High School in 1940, and worked as a cook for Eastern Washington University.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ogle.
Survivors include a son, Stuart Benshoof; a daughter, Diana Benshoof-White; two stepsons, Larry and Jim Trull; two stepdaughters, Betty Byrd and Faye Gonzales; a brother, Glen Lackey; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Union Gospel Mission.
John Urquhart Jr. Spokane
No service will be held for John Douglas Urquhart Jr. at his request. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Urquhart, who was born in Seattle, died Sunday. He was 55. He was raised in Lind, Wash., and graduated from Seattle Prep School.
Mr. Urquhart served as a captain in the Marine Corps, and graduated from Stanford University and Gonzaga School of Law.
He practiced law in Spokane for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; three sons, Scot, Glen and Don,; a daughter, Laura; his mother, Carol, and a sister, Geri Rein.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane, Women Helping Women or the Spokane Food Bank.
Nadine (Jackman) Sommerfeld Spokane
Memorial service for Nadine (Jackman) Sommerfeld, 87, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Riverview Terrace Chapel. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sommerfeld, who was born in Spokane, died April 16.
She graduated from North Central High School in 1931, and later moved to Seattle, where she lived for 20 years. She returned to Spokane in 1968.
She worked as a secretary at Spokane Community College until her retirement in 1978.
Mrs. Sommerfeld was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Howard, died in 1998.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Robertson of Maui, Hawaii, and Bruce Robertson of Atlanta; and a sister, Shirley Nelson of Spokane.
