‘Arrests’ Help Fight Muscular Dystrophy
The Muscular Dystrophy Association will conduct mock arrests of Spokane Valley civic and business leaders today to help raise funds to fight muscular dystrophy.
The association “jails” these leaders until they can raise $1,000 bail which goes for medical research and local patient services.
For example, every $450 raised allows the association to send one child with the neuromuscular disease to summer camp in North Idaho.
Players & Spectators, a Spokane Valley bowling alley and casino, is donating the use of its establishment for the event.
