Bank On North Monroe Robbed

A man robbed the Bank of America branch at 804 N. Monroe around 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon, according to Spokane police.

The man did not use a gun. He demanded money and left the bank on foot.

Witnesses described the robber as a white male in his 30s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a goatee or short beard. He wore sunglasses, a black T-shirt, blue jeans, a black stocking cap and a jean jacket. Police found the cap and jacket along with the bank bag.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233. The FBI is handling the case.
