Group Seeks Aid For Orphanages

A group of local moms is asking for donations to send to orphanages in Romania.

The group is trying to fill a government plane with blankets, children’s Tylenol, anti-lice soap, anti-bacterial soap, Band-Aids, formula, diapers and clothing, especially coats and boots.

The group also is asking for monetary donations to purchase windows, chairs and beds for the orphanages, which the group plans to visit. The women described the orphanages as “child warehouses” in a news release.

Money may be donated by making a deposit in a tax-exempt account at Inland Northwest Bank, listed under “Moms & Tots Romanian Relief Fund.”
