Missing Boy’S Body Found In River

From Staff

Searchers discovered the body of 2-year-old Christian James Clark in the Crooked River on Saturday, nearly a month after the toddler apparently wandered away from his home while his mother was sleeping.

The body was found four miles from his home, where he was last seen on April 5. He is presumed to have fallen into the river and drowned.

After giving up the search earlier this month, Crook County Sheriff Rodd Clark ordered another look this week. The department wanted to find the body for the family’s sake and to eliminate the possibility of abduction.

To help, the Ochoco Irrigation District lowered the river over the past few days. Christian was found in knee-deep water.
