Medinex Systems Inc. reported a second quarter loss of $7.2 million, or 65 cents per share, Tuesday. The loss compares with a $1.4 million net loss during the same period last year. Medinex focuses on business-to-business e-commerce in the medical field. The company is the medical spin-off of Netivation.com, which recently split into two companies.

The Procter & Gamble Co. said Tuesday that fourth-quarter net earnings were up 25 percent, in line with Wall Street’s reduced expectations.

Wendy’s International Inc. reported a 2.3 percent increase in profits in the second quarter because of strong sales throughout the fast-food company.

Correction: A photo caption in the Sunday Business section misidentified the market where local farmers were delivering boxes of produce to customers. The market is the Spokane Farmers’ Market and is open Wednesdays and Sundays at Second and Division.
