Orthodox Churches Plan Bible School
The children of the Orthodox churches in the area will gather for a vacation Bible school session Aug. 21-25 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1703 N. Washington.
Classes are scheduled from 8:45 a.m. to noon and are open to children in preschool through the sixth grade. Children from St.
Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church in Spokane and St. John’s Orthodox in Post Falls will be in attendance.
Parents are asked to register their children before Sunday by calling Holy Trinity at 328-9310.
Drama performances Sunday
A traveling drama group from Northwest Nazarene University will perform during the 9:30 and 11 a.m. worship services Sunday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 N. Country Homes Blvd. The group will present the gospel drama “Parable.” Members of the group hail from Oregon, Vancouver, Wash., Nampa and Caldwell, Idaho.
All are welcome to attend.
