Teens Robbed In Valley Incidents

Two teens were assaulted and robbed in separate incidents this weekend.

A 15-year-old was robbed by two young adults at 2:30 p.m. Friday. They pushed him and stole his backpack while he was sitting near Fred Meyer at Sullivan and Sprague, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The backpack had a cell phone, pager and $56 in cash.

He told a sheriff’s deputy both of the white males looked nearly identical. They were around 18 years old, 6 feet tall and 150 pounds. They were wearing blue jeans, white T-shirts and black baseball hats.

Another Valley teenager had a full-suspension mountain bike valued at $1,500 stolen at 6:30 p.m. Friday. A man allegedly pushed the 14-year-old off the bicycle as he road across a parking lot in the 3300 block of North Argonne Road. The man then stole the black 21-speed bicycle, according to sheriff’s spokesman Cpl. David Reagan.

The man who took the bicycle was described as a white male in his late 20s, 5-foot-6 and 200 pounds. He had slurred speech, a goatee and cutoff blue jeans.
