Armed Robbers Strike Man’S Home Again
Armed robbers broke into a Spokane Valley home early Wednesday, bound and assaulted the resident and ransacked the home before fleeing, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
The 25-year-old victim was treated for injuries.
Deputies were called to the home in the 7900 block of East Augusta just after midnight. A neighbor called 911 after finding the man bound in the home, Sheriff’s spokesman Cpl. Dave Reagan said.
The victim told deputies that multiple armed and masked robbers forced their way in, tied him up and hit him in the head. Detectives declined to say what kind of weapons were used and what was stolen.
This was the second robbery at the house in two weeks. Robbers broke into the home in July and assaulted the same man.
