Asthma Screening To Be Offered At Mall

Parents and their children are invited to participate in a Back-to School Asthma Awareness Day Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Valley Mall.

For parents who suspect their children may have asthma, the event will include a screening to determine whether children should see a physician.

Vendors will distribute information about asthma medications and equipment, and organizers will hand out school checklists, student action plans and resource guides.

Those who participate in the screening will be entered in a drawing for various prizes.
