16-Year-Old Boy Killed In Rollover

A 16-year-old boy from Tekoa, Wash., was killed Thursday when the truck he was driving rolled over on the Barnes Cut-Off Road one mile west of Highway 195 and north of Colfax.

Joseph Adam Palumbo was pronounced dead at the scene just before 10 p.m. Whitman County deputies are investigating, but officials said they suspect the 1991 Ford Ranger Palumbo was driving drifted into the eastbound shoulder of the road, causing him to overcorrect and lose control of the vehicle.
