Sarah Ely, a Lakeland High School graduate, was a cheerleader at the University of Idaho between 1993 and 1997. A Handle Extra article on current UI cheerleader and Lakeland grad Kristin Wikum incorrectly reported that Wikum was the only Lakeland alumna to be a cheerleader at UI.
