Dr.koop.com, the struggling health Web site whose founders included former U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, has lined up $20 million in new financing.

Bowing to pressure from creditors, the founder of South Korea’s largest conglomerate, Hyundai, sold a 6.1 percent stake in its carmaking division on Tuesday to the (Korea) National Pension Fund and local retail investors at an open auction in the Korea Stock Exchange for about $14 each, or about $178 million.

Sneaker industry leader Nike is forming a division to focus on designing and marketing women’s footwear, apparel and equipment. The division will be headed by Clare Hamill, the former head of Nike’s equipment division.

Gillette Co. has agreed to sell most of its sagging stationery products business to Freeport, Ill.-based Newell Rubbermaid. Terms were not disclosed.
