Mailboxes Damaged By Explosives

Four mailboxes were reported damaged by explosives last weekend, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department.

The four boxes, located in and around the city of Hayden, likely were damaged by firecrackers, police said. The same person is probably responsible for all four incidents, police said. No one was injured.

Damage caused to each mailbox ranged between $10 and $25.

If anyone has additional information, call the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department at 664-1511.
