Heidi Ritz-Stevens Places 15Th

Heidi Ritz-Stevens - Mrs. Washington and a South Hill resident - was a finalist at the Mrs. International competition Aug. 14-19.

Ritz-Stevens, 34, placed in the top 15 before being eliminated from the competition, which was held in Sevierville, Tenn.

“I was just so proud to represent Washington,” she said.

She was one of 56 married woman who competed in the international beauty pageant.

A nurse anesthetist, Ritz-Stevens promotes senior issues. She will continue her reign as Mrs. Washington until the next competition in May.
