Tools Taken In Valley

Expensive tools and equipment were stolen from a Valley truck shop this weekend.

Hand and power tools and other equipment worth between $20,000 and $30,000 were stolen from Thunderbird Truck Service, 6317 E. Nixon. The break-in happened between 1 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The front door of the business was pried open and the tools, many of them heavy and bulky, were apparently taken away in a vehicle.
