Moscow Too Much For Pullman In Rebuilt Greyhounds’ Opener
Prep basketball
The Pullman girls will need to generate more offense if they hope to mirror last year’s 21-6 team.
Britanni Bisbee totaled game highs of 12 points and 11 rebounds Thursday, and Eija Hodgins added nine steals to carry Moscow (2-4) to a 44-35 non-league win in visiting Pullman’s season debut.
Pullman finished in fourth place at last year’s State 2A Tournament. But guard Christa Brossman, who accounted for 1,855 career points, and four other players graduated off that school record-setting team.
The Greyhounds scored less than 40 points just twice last season. Pullman split two games with Moscow in 1999-2000.
