A 21-year-old man was stabbed with a broken beer bottle after fighting with people at a party on South Riverton in Spokane on Saturday.

Witnesses told police the man, whose name and address were not given, was causing problems and was asked to leave the party. When he refused, he reportedly attacked another man, and several others intervened.

Police said they were unable to determine who had stabbed him. The man refused to press charges.

He was treated at an area hospital and released.
