Police Seek Car In Robbery, Shooting
Investigators have released a description of a vehicle believed to have been used in a Dec. 1 Spokane Valley armed robbery and shooting.
A man entered Mail Box Center at Sprague and Argonne about 3 p.m. that afternoon, Spokane County sheriff’s spokesman Dave Reagan said. While handcuffing employees, the robber’s gun discharged as he tried to put it on the ground. A 16-year-old was hit in the legs and was treated and released from Deaconess Medical Center.
Authorities believe a white or light-green four-door sedan from the late 1970s or early 1980s may have been used by the suspect.
The suspect is described as a black man with a medium build, between 20 and 25 and about 6 feet tall. He wore a dark hat with ear flaps, sun glasses, a dark waist-length coat, baggy cargo pants and dark gloves.
