Moscow Gets First Win, By Overcoming Cheney
Moscow’s cold December began a warming trend on Saturday.
Darnell Williams scored 16 points and Brandon Richards added 11 rebounds as Moscow defeated visiting Cheney 52-39 in the Border League.
Moscow began the season 0-3, while Cheney was 3-0 until Friday’s loss at Lake City. Cheney played without senior standout Ben Woodard.
