Classes Offered To Senior Citizens

Community college classes for senior citizens start Jan. 3. Registration is now under way.

Classes offered through the Institute for Extended Learning of the Community Colleges of Spokane range from art to computers, exercise to foreign languages.

Class locations in the Spokane Valley include the Senior Citizens Center and the University City Shopping Center.

Classes are also offered at a variety of locations elsewhere in Spokane, with subjects including a writers workshop, genealogy and bridge.

Cost ranges from $5 to $30, with some scholarships available to assist those needing finanacial assistance.
