Snowstorm Produces Postponements

Thursday’s heavy snow forced several area schools to postpone their scheduled Friday boys and girls basketball games.

Doubleheaders wiped out in the Border League were: Cheney at Sandpoint, West Valley at Clarkston and Colville at Lewiston. Also postponed was the Moscow at Coeur d’Alene boys game. No makeup dates were announced.

Postponed Bi-County League doubleheaders were: Valley Christian at Davenport, Reardan at Lind-Kahlotus and Sprague-Harrington at Wilbur-Creston.

Christian Heritage’s boys game at Almira/Coulee-Hartline was also postponed and rescheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday at Hartline.

The Whitman County League postponed its scheduled doubleheaders: Colton at Asotin, Tekoa-Oakesdale at LaCrosse-Washtucna and Rosalia at St. John-Endicott. Makeup dates are Friday for T-O at L-W, and Monday for Rosalia at SJE.

In non-league doubleheaders, Colfax at Garfield-Palouse and Freeman at Medical Lake were also postponed. No makeup dates were announced.

The Liberty boys game at Oroville was canceled.
