Suspect Sought In Attack On Boy

The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office has released an artist’s sketch of a man suspected of attacking an 11-year-old boy on Thursday.

The attack occurred near Lakeside Middle School in Suncrest, the office reported.

The boy told police he was walking to school about 6:40 a.m. on Greenfield Street when a man attempted to tackle him. The student was not harmed.

The boy described the suspect as a tall, thin, black man in his 20s or 30s. He wore a dark stocking cap, black running pants, black field coat and a silver ball earring in his left ear.

School officials have sent parents a letter warning about the alleged incident, the Sheriff’s Office said.
