Path To The Presidency

It felt as if the 2000 presidential race would never end. Life would be marked forever by 24-hour-a-day TV news updates, dimpled chads, court sessions, supreme and otherwise. But it did end. And while frustrations mounted, history was being made. Forty years from now, today’s teens will say to their grandchildren: “I remember the Bush-Gore race like it was yesterday.” To keep the memory alive, and the sequence of events straight, here’s a clip-and-save illustration for civics classes or scrapbooks.
