As far as Utah ski resorts are concerned, teachers can go on strike any time.

Business was up 25 percent to 40 percent at resorts across the state on Dec. 4. Tuesdays are normally slow at area resorts on weekdays at that time of year, but business boomed as schoolchildren headed to the slopes while their teachers picketed the legislature.
