Ziegler Commits To Vandals

Paul Ziegler is going from the Vikings to the Vandals.

The record-shattering running back from Coeur d’Alene High School orally committed to play football for the University of Idaho after a weekend visit.

Ziegler rushed for 2,082 yards as a senior, including 341 yards against Cheney. He finished with 3,144 career yards and 52 touchdowns.

Idaho continues to restock its offensive line, receiving an oral commitment from Pasadena City College’s Ariel Bellofiore, a 6-foot-3, 325-pound guard.

Bellofiore, who was recruited by San Jose State, Bowling Green, Cal State Northridge and Holy Cross, is the third junior college lineman to commit to Idaho.
