Drew Moser hit a jump shot with 11 seconds left on Tuesday and St. George’s escaped with a 42-41 win over visiting Northwest Christian and held on to first place in the Panorama League South Division.
The win made the Dragons the first 8-0 team in the area.
NWC used a 35-22 rebounding edge and 13-of-18 freethrow shooting to keep pressuring the Dragons.
The Crusaders missed a final shot and possession went to St. George’s with 2 seconds left.
