Fire Department Holds Food Drive

The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department will hold a food drive from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the fire station, 320 Foster Ave.

Families can have their pictures taken with Santa Claus on an antique fire engine with the donation of two nonperishable food items, said John Morrison, department spokesman.

Donations will be made to the Coeur d’Alene Food Bank.

Santa Claus will tour Coeur d’Alene neighborhoods south of Appleway Avenue on an antique fire engine between 6 and 9 p.m. Friday. He’ll tour north of Appleway from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
