Stillar, Lakeside Get Back At Ephrata For State Setback
The Lakeside Eagles evened the score with Ephrata after nine months.
Molly Stillar scored 15 of her 21 points in the second half, including 6 of 6 free throws, to rally the Eagles over visiting Ephrata 66-56 in a non-league girls game at Nine Mile Falls.
Ephrata defeated Lakeside 69-51 in the State 2A quarterfinals last March. The Tigers ultimately claimed the title with an overtime win over Meridian.
Stillar also had 12 rebounds and tied Kate Reome with a team-best five assists. Alain Bowman, one of five holdovers from the title team, scored 22 for Ephrata.
